Breakfast with Med Mal Judge and Practitioners Tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, January 6, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, there will be a breakfast program on LITIGATING IN THE MEDICAL MALPRACTICE PARTS IN SUPREME COURT. The Honorable Sheila Abdus-Salaam, one of NY County Supreme Court’s Medical Malpractice Part judges, will be the guest speaker. She will be joined by two practitioners: plaintiff’s lawyer Jeffrey Kimmel, of Salenger, Sack, Schwartz & Kimmel, LLP; and on the defense side, Caramia Hart, of Kopff, Nardelli & Dopff, LLP.
The fee is modest: $10.00 for members; and $15.00 for non-members. I recommend the program highly, though I won’t be able to attend. The three speakers are extremely well-qualified to discuss the workings of the Medical Malpractice Parts, and you will very likely learn something, no matter how experienced you are.

These are all plundering lawyers and biased lawyers on the bench running their con. The overwhelming majority of medmal cases are weak cases. The filing of a weak claim is legal malpractice. These cult criminals have dealt themselves unlawful total immunity. No one else has a privity obstacle to compensating the doctor victim of lawyer and judge carelessness. When idiot NY lawyers came to my state thinking they could plunder as they do in NY, they got their asses kicked in court.
The medmal bars of NY, both plaintiff and defense, are weak.
The airtight rigging of the system by the vile judges you mentioned morally and intellectually justifies total public self-help against the cult criminals. It should begin with a boycott by all service and product providers against those on a lawyer blacklist.
The judge mentioned here is a horrible left wing ideologue, incapable of being neutral. She hates all productive entities, as all left wing political hacks do, including doctors. Her entire speech is spewed hate, with no credibility. It is anti-scientific garbage. All protected by self-dealt immunity.

With regard to Judge Abdus-Salaam, I think your comments about her are baseless. I’ve appeared before her numerous times over the course of several years, and find her to be among the most even-tempered and thoughtful jurists sitting in NY County.
