Republican Senator from Kentucky Predicts Justice Ginsburg’s Death

According to Debra Cassens Weiss in today’s ABAJournal.com, Senator Jim Bunning, R-Ky., made a speech Saturday in which he proclaimed that the Supreme Court was likely to have a vacancy within nine months, “because Ruth Bader Ginsburg…has cancer.”

On behalf of all of us lawyers, Jim, thank you for the classy send-off.  Perhaps you’ll find time to speak at her funeral, given your advance notice of its occurrence, despite your very busy schedule.  And, by the way, it looks like that  correspondence course you took in Oncology last year has really payed off!
